Standard is 8 ft between posts. 6 ft provides more rigidity. Chain-link or wire fencing can use 8–10 ft.
How much concrete per post?
Plan one 80-lb bag per post. Dig holes at least 1/3 the post height deep.
How many boards per section?
For a 6-ft fence with 6" boards and 8-ft spacing you need ~16 boards per section.
